He inclined his head in return, affording the females the same degree of respect that he had been shown, dipping his eyes before returning them to the Wolf who had spoken.

'This night finds me well, thank you, though I do admit that your - and you companions calls did stir a certain loneliness within myself.' his smooth voice portrayed an eloquent manner, words floating across the gap between them, which narrowed as he further approached, uttering his further introduction, 'My calling is Gamble,' he finished with another short bow, golden eyes wandering across the forms of the three present females, observing and scrutinizing their forms with casual demenour as to draw no offence.

'So what would bring those such as yourselves to such a solitary hilltop... though I must say the view is rather spectacular...' a small smile curled the corners of his muzzle as his eyes turned from those he was addressing to the surrounding lands, his comment remaining ambiguous, letting them read into it however much or little they should choose.

"We're just enjoying the view." Aurore replied in answer to his question. Though she remained laying down, she tensed slightly at the arrival of another. However, the fact that she had been around two others for a bit now, did do its magic in helping her relax much easier.

Her ears flashed back against her skull, and she stretched her neck slightly to raise her head. "I'm Aurore."

Moon smiled at the brute. This was going to be interesting.

Well, Gamble, I am Golden Moon.

She glanced at Aurore and smiled when she relaxed. The femme was getting used to company. That was a good trait, the ability to adapt quickly. She kept a straight face at his comment, trying not to laugh.

I am glad you are well. We are here to find homes. And you, sir?
She smirked slightly, her eyes watching him, making sure of his intentions. If he were to take Aurore or Storm and not be able to care for them, she would rip out his throat. But that was neither here nor there, and she wan't going to tell her friends that. They would murder her for sure.

He nodded his acknowledgement to Aurore upon receipt of her name, eyes flitting quickly across her form, forming a vague smile upon his face as his eyes surrepticiously yet invitingly lingered upon each female, an innocent charm in his expression.

Simply a home? Nothing more...? inwardly he questioned them, c.ocking an eyebrow

Lastly he looked to Moon, by far seeming the leader of the little trio with her confident air and defendant expression. 'To find a pack would be one intention but there is a more pressing matter that I must admit to,' his reply, with what had been an offhanded tonality but had quickly returned to focus, came easily; a breif pause however before he continued, his eyes averted downwards through the earth itself it seemed, 'A mate.' His eyes flicked up to gauge a reaction from those assembled, though he didn't expect much surprise - afterall he had asked those he encountered where he should go for such and this had been their response, however they had only mentioned a home... He held himself back, as such, waiting to see how things would develope.

OoC: don't worry about it... likewise X_x;;

Aurore tensed slightly underneath his stare, biting back her natural responsive urge to do anything that was at all possible in order to avoid conflict-if the case need be.

But then, Aurore's expression was blank, and she stretched her head out onto her paws. She didn't seem phased in the slightest at the seemingly out of the blue remark. "A home is all I'm looking for here, no wolf wants an eight year old mate." And that was absolutely fine for her. She said, her tone being vacant of any sadness or longing. She thought for a moment before continuing. "Perhaps not even a home, any kind of safe haven would do just as well though. It doesn't really matter, so long as it's out of the way of danger." Even if it were a...tree, anything suited, just so long as it kept her out of danger and preferably free of stress. For the most part, anyway. There was no living to life if there was no stress here and there.

Moon watched the brute known as Gamble. So he was here for a mate? She glanced at Aurore. The femme seemed to enjoy the simple things in life, and Moon wished she could enjoy the simpler things, too. But she knew she was a bit bossy sometimes. Alright, more than a bit.

I am merely looking for a place where I don't have to be alone all of the time. Where I can have companions and not have to talk to myself to keep me entertained.

Moon looked up into the sky, the big silver moon reflecting in her orbs. The night was a little chilly, and she was enjoying herself. She smiled, her metal-toned coat seeming to glow, and she flattened her auds against her cranium as she felt the great expanse that was the night sky begin to overpower her senses.

'Well,' he replied after a short pause, 'perhaps we can all keep each other company until such times as a home and safety is found,' an easy smile lingered upon his lips as he sat down, directing his own attentions in the direction Moon looked. The satellite illuminated the whole area in its silvery light, laying contentment and ease across the assembled canines; Gamble, even, content just to enjoy the company of the others.

OoC: Ick, shortness.

Aurore shifted in her spot uncomfortably, edging closer to the two others wolves. It wasn't that the night itself was frightening, it was simply that Aurore didn't appreciate being out in the night, in such a wide open space; she was edgy. She'd come to live this long by surrounding herself in a safety net-so to speak, of wolves. She remained silent for the moment, laying back down though now closer, and resting her head against her paws. Truthfully, something Gamble had said about keeping each other company-which, in her mind, meant safety in itself-had struck a cord with her, and she couldn't help but find herself agreeing with the statement. Alone, they'd be doomed, would they not? But together, even not as a pack themselves, they were strangely safe.
